In 2005 four passionate and enthusiastic watch collectors had a dream come true. Under the guidance of Master-Watchmaker Gilbert O. Gudjonsson we unveiled, after years of preparation our own collection of mechanical timepieces and JS Watch company was born. Working on our designs for years we were confident the time was right to launch JS Watch co. Reykjavik. Our Icelandic designed and constructed collection had an instant positive impact on the local market which quickly gained international recognition with collectors and connoisseurs of fine mechanical watches. Our idea of engineering classically inspired designs to modern precision, using finely constructed traditional mechanical calibers adjusted by hand, respecting the watchmaking traditions of the past has proven successful. Our customers instantly appreciated the personal attention given to them by us, their fellow watch enthusiasts. The idea of purchasing a watch from a watchmaker had been forgotten in the era of big brands.
