Founded in June 1973, by Mr. Emilio Nesrala, with its initial location at Av. San Martín No.15 in the city of Santo Domingo. Nesplas begins its activities with the export to the United States of protectors for emergency lights. New production lines for the national market were incorporated, its main product being baby bottles, which obtained great acceptance, due to the fact that the importation of these containers had decreased between 1973 and 1974. Subsequently, and supplying the needs of the growing In the Dominican market, new lines of high-density polyethylene containers were added, with capacities from half an ounce to one gallon. Likewise, we created a metalworking workshop in order to manufacture molds and give the respective maintenance to the production equipment to ensure the quality of the final product. The processes of injection of caps and blow molding of PET containers were added to the aforementioned processes. We take care to keep ourselves updated with the knowledge of the processes applicable to the sector by taking training abroad, through the person of our founder and later his children. This in order to ensure that our products continue to meet the needs of our customers with the best quality and efficiency. In 1982, after the unfortunate loss of our founder, Mr. Emilio Nesrala, the company's operations continue under the direction of his sons, who over the following years have kept updating and pursuing constant improvements in equipment and the catalog of products, which has positioned Nesplas as one of the leading companies in the production of plastic in the Dominican Republic. Thanks to these improvements, two new branches are added, one in the Herrera Industrial Zone in Santo Domingo Oeste and the other in the city of Santiago. Our commitment to quality has led us to promote efficient production by applying the Lean Manufacturing methodology and the 5 S, which ensure that our processes are organized and systematized. We have also obtained certifications such as the BRC (British Retail Consortium) for our quality and safety standards. Currently, with more than 45 years of uninterrupted work, Nesplas SA continues to innovate to meet the needs of the Dominican market, with the highest quality and the best services.
