Company Information
The tradition dates back to the 1800s, when my great-grandfather dedicated his life to grape production and winemaking. At that time, the family farm still farmed 1 hectare of grapes on Mész hill near Eger. The connection with the Kőlyuk cellar line, where today's winery operates, can be traced back to the period before World War I, when my great-grandfather cut a cellar with his own hands in this area, which can still be found on the cellar line to this day. This cellar is also of historical importance, as the family lived in the II. He survived World War here unscathed. To this day, the family makes its wines here in the now 110-meter-long cellar under Kőlyuktető in the southern part of Eger, which in 2001 won the award "The most beautiful winery in Eger". Today we farm on 7.5 ha on the border of Eger. Eged-Hegy kékfrankos, Merengő cabernet franc, even Hárslevelű, Menoire and Turán in the Nagyaszó vineyard. We make 80,000 bottles of wine every year. The farm is entirely based on manual viticulture.
